Updates on the horizon
I just fixed some annoying bugs (most annoying: double login bug), and am happy to announce some new features. I will not say the new features shall arrive soon, but they are being worked on.
As of myself I currently have a very harsh school scheme so I will not be able to do as much, but Lord Mogan will be performing some stuff sooner or later.
The next 2 lans look very promising, and are sure to bring loads of entertainment. The new ampache system is comming along nicely, as are the corpse-corp Unreal Tournament 2004 and the warhammer updater!

No More Bullshit
Ever since I noted our planning being a disaster, it got even more dramatical, moving the projects section into hold as well, seeing as time just gets more scarce by the minute. Therefore, there will be no more deadlines, expectations or any of that time pressuring crap going on for a while. The only thing I can say for sure is that the projects page will be the first to have a turn at being developed, and will reveal the progress of the development, so you won't be bothered by reading about all the projects that are gonna start in the news section, but you'll be able to have a selective view of the progress you want to know about. Now let's just hope the Kamelot gigs will be a blast, that might send our progress flying up as well.

Ampache 3.3.3
Since Vollmer was kind enough to post the new ampache stable (v3.3.3), it shall be used as the replacement for tunez from now on.
Tunez was outdated and buggy/exploitable. Ampache is much more versatile but might need some time for every corpse-lanner might be able to grasp it's full ability's.
Objections against this move should be sent to /dev/null, the move has been made and that's it.
But who wants to contribute to ampache in a easy way may do so through GieltjE or Lord Mogan. For the project is worth it!
Hail Vollmer,
Hail Satan,

Traffic Jam
The last period the development plans have been one big fucking disaster, the only thing we really accomplished so far is some new mods and additions to the ut2004 updater, including the complete rewriting of the updater's installer code. Also, due to the gameplay of warcraft 3, the unit cap removal proved useless, as the game becomes unbalanced pretty quickly. The Warcraft 3 mod has been put on hold, as well as DM-Madness, and the new map idea that has spawned in my mind: DM-Cavern. The map naming has been changed too, making our maps more easily recognizable. Ex: DM-CC-Madness wheras CC stands for Corpse Corp.
Further, we will be starting the development on the new website sections first, so that you can keep track of what we are developing. The expected finish date for this is before the end of this month. With the school period ahead of us, a lot of time will come available for us to practice and increase our skills with development, as well as work on the mods and maps at the same time. Keep an eye out for some real work on the end of this month.

Late (christian) new year lan
Although a bit later then we hoped, here it is, the new year lan.
We do not necessarily endorse the christian belief, but any reason is good enough for a lan.
This mini location has been made possible by our great SATAN Jr himself.

Better Late Then Never
Hello fellow corpse-lanners, it's been a while since we last posted some news and the Fallen Corpse Lan has had no conclusion whatsoever, so I thought it might be time to get some word out there.
Up until the Fallen Corpse Lan, we made some pretty good progress on the new UT2004 Updater, plus, at the lan, we developed our first version of the Ultimate Corpse Updater for Warhammer 40.000: Dawn Of War.
The lan was awesome, the new food idea GieltjE introduced was a big success and the participant count, along with the visitor count, was even higher than previous lans. The atmosphere was great, the gaming big fun, and the leeching so high we often crashed a server.
The last month has been a spurt in development for new ideas, putting allready running projects on a low pace. As a result, the Ultimate Corpse updaters won't be having any updates soon, but as a compensation, I have started a modification for Warcraft 3, which might enable us to play this game at our rates. Allready finished, are a unit cap removal for Warcraft 3 and some new ideas on DM-madness. Starting back up, I will be spending more time on the Ultimate Corpse Updaters and will be busy coding a projects section with GieltjE. All in all we hope to give you a nice addition to your gaming fun. Keep an eye out for the projects section, and off course the news.
Celebrations done, time to get back at it.
Hello corpse-lanners out there! We've had an anime weekend to celebrate our first year of death and we're back in action. Today, GieltjE fixed some login and registration code. He also changed and fixed a bit of the session code, keeping the database tidier and your account a bit safer. I also thought it was about time I announced the development of 2 new maps of insanity for UT2004. And the coming of a new Ultimate Updater for UT2004 and Total Annihilation. We hope to accomplish many great things this year and with the coming of a new official team member, we will have a progress boost and development capacity increase as well.
Keep an eye on the news for the new pack releases.
1 Year Anniversary!
Good day to all you Corpse Lanners out there! Today I bring notice to the nearing of our first Anniversary! A little less than a month away and highly anticipated for the staff here at Corpse HQ, the 21st of September 2006 marks the anniversary of the Corpse Corp. Also, I would like to bring to your attention that we will from this year on, be presenting a prize every official corpse corp lan that takes place in the fall vacation. The Fallen Corpse 2006 prize will be awarded this year at the Fallen Corpse Lan, after which the prize is named.
We hope to see you at the Fallen Corpse Lan!
Money money money!!!
We have decided that we are going to follow a few new ways of managing the money.
First and probably best, if we have spent less money on a lan then we got: Everyone who has visited will build up a discount for the next lan, in this way it is fair for everyone.
The discount will not be (amount of money left/people in the lan), but slightly less which shall be donated to the corpse-corp savings.
Second: if there is a money shortage we may decide to pull a few bucks from the corpse-corp savings OR in case it is a lot we may require some more money from the people who have joined the lan(which we hope will be unnecessary).
We hope this brings a bit more clarity to some users.

Corpse-Lan 2.0 currently contains 3285 lines of code!
And all that in just 35 code files which takes up 153057 bytes,
Combined with 12 graphical files which takes up 822940 bytes,
And a total of 975997 bytes,
Thnx to the village idiot (aka GieltjE), for making all these useless stats.
